Rational Unified Process (RUP) : 

The rational unified process is defined as the process of software engineering which presents the iterative framework. Its main function is to manage object oriented software development.


Ø Develop software iteratively.
Ø Manage requirements.
Ø Use component-based architectures.
Ø Visually model software
Ø Continuously verify software quality.
Ø Control changes to software.
